How to Map Webdav from a Windows 7 Machine

Description

Tested and working on Windows 7 (x64), Windows Server 2008 (x64), Alfresco 3.3.1, Tomcat, MySQL

• Open Windows Explorer

• Righclick on ‘Computer’

• Go to ‘Map Netowrk Drive’

• Choose the Drive letter

• Use this link for your Webdav location: http://localhost:8080/alfresco/webdav

• Select Connect Using Different Credentials (If SSO isn’t active)

• Press OK and Enter your Credentials

Troubleshooting

Make sure the Webclient Service is running:

1. Start -> Services.msc

2. Start the Webclient service

Adjust your Basic Authentication Level key

1. Start -> regedit

2. HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesWebClientParameters

3. BasicAuthLevel = 2
